What are my payment options?

Do I need to pay sales tax?

The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy is required to collect sales tax in all states where we have a business presence. Since our business is based solely in the San Francisco Bay Area, customers who live outside of California will NOT be charged sales tax.

What is a member discount and how do I sign up?

We are proud to offer a 15% discount on all purchases made by current Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy members. This discount is applicable at all eight park store locations and our online stores.

Shipping Information

What are my holiday shipping options?

We want you to receive items in your order as quickly as possible. To avoid unexpected slow-downs and delays during this busy time of year, we encourage you to place holiday orders as early as you can.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST). Orders may take up to 48 hours to process during the holiday season. For same-day express shipping, orders must be placed by 2:00 pm PST. Orders placed after 2:00 pm PST on Fridays will be fulfilled the following week.

Our warehouse will be closed for the holidays from Monday, December 24 through Tuesday, December 25, and from Monday, December 31 through Tuesday, January 1.

Based on an estimated deliver date of Monday, December 24, 2018, our holiday shipping cutoff dates are as follows:

How are shipping costs determined?

All domestic orders are shipped through the US Postal Service, using the mail service of your choice. Shipping and handling rates are based on your order's packaged weight, dimensions, and destination.

How do I check the status of my order?

Once you complete your online purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with a summary of your purchase, shipping, and payment information.

As soon as your order ships from the warehouse, typically within 48 hours from the time of purchase, you will receive an email notification with US Postal Service tracking information.

When will I receive my items?

As soon as your order ships from the warehouse, typically within 48 hours from the time of purchase, you will receive an email notification with tracking information from the US Postal Service. Please note that we do not ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays, or major holidays.

Do you offer express shipping?

We are proud to offer express shipping through our partners at the US Postal Service.

Express orders received before 2:00 pm PST will be shipped the same day. All express orders received after 2:00 pm PST, will be shipped the following day, unless the order is received Friday after 2:00 pm PST or over the weekend. Weekend orders will ship the following Monday.

Can I have my items shipped to me internationally?

Yes. We ship to all countries serviced by the US Postal Service.

Shipping and handling rates are based on your order's packaged weight and destination, but do NOT include fees incurred through Customs. You are responsible for all applicable customs duties, tariffs, or Value Added Tax (VAT), which are collected by the carrier upon delivery.

International delivery time is typically 6 to 10 business days, barring any unforeseen delays in Customs.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer gift wrapping services at this time. We are, however, happy to include a gift note with your shipment.

Returns and Exchanges

Can I return and/or exchange items from my order?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return items for replacement, exchange, or refund within 30 days of purchase.

All returned merchandise must be in original condition. Apparel must be unwashed and unworn. Any non-apparel items must be unused and in original it's packaging. All shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

Why doesn't my shipment include a receipt?

To support our mission of promoting environmentally-friendly and sustainable practices, we reduce paper waste whenever possible, including recycled packaging materials and sending email receipts instead of paper receipts in shipments.

I bought an item from a store in the park. Can I do an exchange with you?

I returned an item from the web store. Why is the charge still showing on my credit card?

Once we receive your returned items, it can take an additional 7-10 business days for the return to fully process and the credit to appear on your credit card statement. Please note that all shipping and handling fees are non-refundable and will not appear on your statement.
